He explains that Rockstar and Take‑Two are worried that AI tools could enable enthusiasts to create unofficial PC ports after the console launch, which might affect official sales.
According to Vermeij, an earlier official PC version could prevent low‑quality AI‑generated ports from appearing, but no concrete new release date has been announced.
