Roskomnadzor orders Telegram, YouTube and TikTok to block Rain media channels

Roskomnadzor sent notifications to the complaint review departments of Telegram, YouTube and TikTok, as well as to the editorial office of the media outlet “Rain”. The agency cited a request from the Ministry of Justice related to the outlet’s failure to comply with foreign‑agent legislation.

The regulator demands that Telegram block the “Rain” channel, that YouTube block the main “Rain” channels and the projects “Drama Queens” and “Rain. Stories”, and that TikTok block the “Rain” channels as well.
