The Cure frontman Robert Smith told BBC Radio 6 that the band plans more concerts in 2027 and that the shows will be “bursting with new songs.” Smith made the comment in a voicemail to host Nick Grimshaw, saying details on dates and locations will be announced later.
The band has been touring throughout 2026, including a European festival run and a live debut of Smith’s collaboration with Olivia Rodrigo at Primavera Sound. The upcoming tour could also give fans a preview of fresh material following the 2024 album Songs of a Lost World.
